With Jessica Jones season three, we gave the rabid Marvel fan base the power to unlock S3 themselves. To do this we crafted a series of creative executions from the POV of the antagonist; Sallinger.
We started our campaign on social, stoking a fire with a suite of physical props made by the psychotic killer. After syncing with showrunners and Marvel execs, all of these were created and shot practically, in-house, by our talented designer Michael Kauffmann. We included tons of easter eggs and teased that any of the main characters of the show could possibly end up dead. Ultimately these assets amped up the dark grittiness of the IP as our channels were overrun by Sallinger himself.

Then things took a turn and fans were brought in on the action as they needed to decrypt a series of vertical videos and stories across Instagram and Twitter. Once decoded, they were given the codeword (Sallinger) to find the trailer within the netflix app.
